At approximately 0130 hours on March 26th, 2011, Gage County Deputies discovered a large quantity of road signs and a bean field damaged in the area of Highway 112 and State Line Road near Lanham, Nebraska. Kansas Government Adds 16,000 Jobs in One Year

The Kansas Department of Labor reported Kansas Government agencies employed 16-thousand more people in February 2011 than in February 2010.  The revelation was made in February’s Unemployment report. Nemaha County had the lowest unemployment rate in the state of Kansas at 4.3 percent during the month of February. Marshall County’s unemployment rate remained 5.5 percent.
