A suspect is in custody in connection with an early-morning burglary and several attempted burglaries in Marysville on Wednesday, according to police. Semi Blocks Highway

Highway 15 South of Washington was closed this morning when a semi suffered a mechanical malfunction and blocked both lanes of traffic. Traffic was rerouted through the Bruna Implement Dealer. The highway was cleared and opened to traffic after just a short period of time. Read More »

Woman Stabbed by Her Own Request

Two Beatrice men were arrested Tuesday after allegedly stabbing their friend. Jessalyn A. Stierwalt who told police she had been stabbed twice, once in the left shoulder and once on the left side of her abdomen.
