Centralia Teenager Injured in One-Vehicle Accident

16-year-old Jonathan Durland of Centralia was injured Thursday evening in an accident in Nemaha County. Durland lost control of the vehicle he was driving and the car overturned. Property Thefts Continue to Plague Northeast Kansas

The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department has seen an increasing trend in property thefts over the course of the last year. According to Sheriff Hargrave the thefts over the last year have been spread across the county, touching all four corners. Local Residents Affected by the Heat

While area hospitals report an increase in heat related patients the Kansas Department of Health and Environment says heat has contributed to the deaths of at least three people this summer in the state. Pursuit Begins in Beatrice – Ends in Gage County

At approximately 3 am on Saturday the Beatrice Police Department attempted to stop on a vehicle within the Beatrice city limits. A pursuit ensued, exited the city limits, and entered the county.
