Pursuit Begins in Beatrice – Ends in Gage County

At approximately 3 am on Saturday the Beatrice Police Department attempted to stop on a vehicle within the Beatrice city limits. A pursuit ensued, exited the city limits, and entered the county. Two juveniles were also cited for attempting to sell a controlled substance at the Gage County Fair. Man Arrested at Gage County Fair for Assaulting Officer and Narcotics

A Gage County sheriff’s deputy located Joshua Bornemeier of Beatrice while patrolling the fair grounds. The deputy was aware that Bornemeier and had a warrant out for his arrest. Seven individuals from the Beatrice area have been arrested in connection with a drug ring. Thomas Harms was charged with delivery of a controlled substance and other narcotic related felonies.
