Bern Man Killed in Industrial Accident
Ronald Lee Hastings of Bern was the victim of an industrial accident Tuesday morning at the Fairview Mills plant in Hiawatha. Hiawatha Police Chief John Defore reports that Hastings was working with a piece of machinery when he became entangled with it. Hastings was reported dead at the scene of the accident by authorities.
