Kevin Rippe was born in Marysville and moved to Smith Center at the age of 1, then graduated from Smith Center High School in 1995. He graduated from Cloud County Community College in 1997, and joined the staff of KKAN/KQMA radio in Phillipsburg a year later. Since June of 2011 Kevin has been with us here at Your Country KNDY. You can hear Kevin on daily news reports, as well as calling area high school football and basketball. Kevin lives in Marysville with his wife Melissa, and 4 children Brennen, Jacob, Bailee, and Joshua.

Staggenborg recognized at Kansas Sampler Festival

Marysville Chamber of Commerce Secretary Brenda Staggenborg was one of ten people recognized at the Kansas Sampler Festival held last weekend in Liberal. Stamp Out Food Hunger Day is this Saturday

This Saturday, May 11, is the 21st annual National Association of Letter Carriers Stamp out Food Hunger Drive. Carriers will pick up non-perishable food items while out on their route. Just leave your food items by your mailbox. Last year, over 73 millions pounds of food was collected nationwide, the largest one day food drive nationally since it’s inception. Highway 77 Road Work delayed to this week
