Kevin Rippe was born in Marysville and moved to Smith Center at the age of 1, then graduated from Smith Center High School in 1995. He graduated from Cloud County Community College in 1997, and joined the staff of KKAN/KQMA radio in Phillipsburg a year later. Since June of 2011 Kevin has been with us here at Your Country KNDY. You can hear Kevin on daily news reports, as well as calling area high school football and basketball. Kevin lives in Marysville with his wife Melissa, and 4 children Brennen, Jacob, Bailee, and Joshua.

Missing Frankfort man found deceased

It is with deep regret the Marshall County sheriff’s Office announces that Francis H. Kramer,  77, of Frankfort has been found deceased in southern Brown County. Mr. Kramer has been missing from his Frankfort residence since the 3rd of February 2012. The sheriff’s office was notified by the Brown County Sheriff’s Office at approximately 11:30 a.m. Friday. Several cars vandalized in Beatrice last weekend.

Loan Guarantee upheld in Gage County

A ruling in Gage County District Court recently upheld a loan guarantee owed the State Bank of Odell by the City of Beatrice. The guarantee was on an equipment loan from the bank for Blue Valley Automation, a company that has since failed to repay, and gone out of business.
