Kevin Rippe was born in Marysville and moved to Smith Center at the age of 1, then graduated from Smith Center High School in 1995. He graduated from Cloud County Community College in 1997, and joined the staff of KKAN/KQMA radio in Phillipsburg a year later. Since June of 2011 Kevin has been with us here at Your Country KNDY. You can hear Kevin on daily news reports, as well as calling area high school football and basketball. Kevin lives in Marysville with his wife Melissa, and 4 children Brennen, Jacob, Bailee, and Joshua.

Auditions for Summer Musical are June 2 and 3

Auditions for the Marysville Area Community Theatre’s summer production “Into the Woods” will be held Sunday June 2nd from 2-4 pm and Monday June 3rd from 6-8 pm at the Marysville High School Auditorium. Weather Service confirms a small tornado did do damage in Washington

The National Weather Service confirmed Monday that it was a small tornado with winds of around 80 mph that did damage in Washington Saturday night. The weather service agreed with Sheriff Justin Cordry who said he thought that the tornado was dipping up and down out of the cloud and never actually touched the ground. The main area the tornado did damage ... Greenleaf Head Start to close

The Greenleaf Head Start Program will close, after a vote of 8-5 Monday night by the Head Start Governing Board. The building also houses the Twin Lakes Educational Cooperative, a special education preschool, which has 36 students from the USD 223 Barnes, Hanover, Linn School District. The Greenleaf Head Start has 15 students for a total of just over 50 students. Budget cuts ...
