Kevin Rippe was born in Marysville and moved to Smith Center at the age of 1, then graduated from Smith Center High School in 1995. He graduated from Cloud County Community College in 1997, and joined the staff of KKAN/KQMA radio in Phillipsburg a year later. Since June of 2011 Kevin has been with us here at Your Country KNDY. You can hear Kevin on daily news reports, as well as calling area high school football and basketball. Kevin lives in Marysville with his wife Melissa, and 4 children Brennen, Jacob, Bailee, and Joshua.

2012 Wheat Harvest a bit above average

Beatrice School Board selects new Superintendent

The Beatrice Public Schools Board of Education has selected Pat Nauroth to be their new Superintendent at a special meeting held Tuesday night.  He’s currently the assistant superintendent at South Sioux City Schools, where he has been for 25 years and has verbally committed to a two year contract with a $155,000 annual salary plus benefits.  He will begin his ... 93 vehicles were inspected by the Kansas Highway Patrol and 24 vehicles were inspected by Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks, & Tourism in a check lane set up in Nemaha County the first Sunday in December.  No major violations were found by either organization, which was set up on Highway 36.  There were 3 misdemeanor arrests made, along with 2 ...
