Kevin Rippe was born in Marysville and moved to Smith Center at the age of 1, then graduated from Smith Center High School in 1995. He graduated from Cloud County Community College in 1997, and joined the staff of KKAN/KQMA radio in Phillipsburg a year later. Since June of 2011 Kevin has been with us here at Your Country KNDY. You can hear Kevin on daily news reports, as well as calling area high school football and basketball. Kevin lives in Marysville with his wife Melissa, and 4 children Brennen, Jacob, Bailee, and Joshua.

Czech bagpiper to perform Monday at SCC in Beatrice

Former Marysville Priest faces child abuse allegation

Road work on U.S. 77 to begin May 1

On Wednesday, May 1, weather permitting, a resurfacing project will begin on 11.86 miles of U.S. 77 from the U.S. 36/U.S. 77 junction west of Marysville to the Kansas/Nebraska state line in Marshall County. Fire at Neapo Manufacturing quickly extinguished

Beatrice Fireman responded to a fire at Neapco Manufacturing Monday afternoon about 12:45 and found two machines on fire at the heat treatment area of the driveline manufacturing company. Neapco workers used liquid nitrogen to put the fires out as the Beatrice Fireman stood by. Damage was minimal and limited to the machines.
