DUI Suspect causes accident involving Oketo woman

On February 5, 2010 at approximately 2130 hours, Gage County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a two vehicle accident south of Wymore near Plum Road.  Upon arrival, Sheriff’s deputies’ investigation revealed that Daron Schmidt, 48 years of age of Shelby Iowa, was traveling northbound on Highway 77 near Plum Road when he crossed left of center of the highway.  His ... Injury accident in Gage County sends 3 to the hospital
