Save a car – miss a deer

Kansans are getting advice on driving safely during deer mating season. Triple A notes that deer cause 1.6 million vehicle crashes annually. $100,000 truck lost in fire

Southeast Nebraska Co-op lost a truck valued at over $100,00 on Thursday.  Beatrice Rural Firefighters responded to a call of a truck on fire Thursday afternoon. Flags to be flown at half-staff Friday to honor fallen soldier

Gov. Mark Parkinson has ordered flags to be lowered across Kansas in honor of a soldier from Wichita who was killed in Afghanistan.  Flags will be lowered Friday from sunup to sundown in honor of Sgt. Gage county pursuit ends in arrest

A 19-year-old Sterling man led a Gage County  Sheriff’s deputy on a high speed pursuit through northern Gage County Thursday night, including through the village of Adams.
