Prairie Hills USD 113 at a special board meeting accepted the resignation of Superintendent Bill Orth effective May 1st. No reason was given, and he was appointed Coordinator of Transition Services. Dr. Velora Hanzlick was appointed Interim Superintendent for USD 113. The board also recently accepted the resignation of Gena Fritz, music teacher at Summerfield and Axtell. An injury accident was reported in Gage County Monday afternoon at around 4:20 p.m. Kaleb Fairbanks, 21, of Odell was westbound on PWF Road, and collided with Cory Jenson, 28, of Manhattan who was southbound on 117th Road about six miles southwest of Odell. Plane Traveling From Washington Crashes In Oklahoma


A small plane crash in Oklahoma Sunday afternoon had local connections. Funeral Service Planned For Marysville Teen Killed In Highway Accident


Hunter Mayfield, 13, of Marysville passed away on April 17th following injuries sustained in an accident on U.S. Highway 36 on April 10th. Lawrence Man Arrested In Trailer Theft In Seneca


Nemaha County authorities arrested a Lawrence man, 55-year-old James W.
