The Marysville USD 364 School Board met Monday. Sonya Stohs was elected board president, Todd Milner vice president. The proposed budget was approved, with the budget hearing set for August 12th, at 6:30 pm. Multi-Vehicle Accident Closes US-77 Overnight

US-77 south of Waterville was closed to traffic overnight for nearly 3 1/2 hours following a multi-vehicle accident involving a semi. Injury Accident Reported In Washington County

An injury accident was reported in Washington County July 15. Tiffany Gloodt of Greenleaf lost control on Bismarck, just south of Fourth Road, where her vehicle rolled. A passenger was taken by ambulance to the Concordia hospital. Read More »

The Nemaha County Sheriff received a report of six large round hay bales taken from a field near 48th and C Road near Centralia sometime between July 15 and 18. A battery and tool box were reported stolen from a tractor near 1695 176th Road near Oneida sometime between July 6 and 10. Read More »

Nemaha County Dealing With $3.5 Million Property Value Drop

Nemaha County is scrambling to adjust budgets following a $3.5 million drop in state assessed property values, primarily related to a reduction in the value of the Keystone Pipeline, which crosses the county.
