Vandals Strike Valley Heights High School Vocational Building

Vandals reportedly broke into the Valley Heights vocational building at the high school on July 11th. Some $5,000 worth of equipment was reported stolen, including tablets, trimmer, various battery and electric hand tools, plasma cutter and two Nintendo Wii systems. Marshall County A Top Soybean Producer In Kansas

Recent rains have boosted farmers’ hopes for an improved fall harvest. Marshall County is among the state’s top soybean producing counties. Last year farmers planted 149,000 acres to beans, the most of any county.
