Beatrice Authorities Explore Future Options For Solid Waste Disposal Facility

Road Construction Projects To Impact Area Highways

Grants Awarded By Washington County Community Foundation

The Washington County Community Foundation announced five grant awards totaling $3,772, to the Washington County Ministerial Food Bank, Kloppenberg Center in Hanover, RFD 10, Washington Ball Association, and Linn Youth Football program. $450,000 is currently invested in the five year old foundation. Kim Tennal Inducted Into Volleyball Hall Of Fame

The Kansas Volleyball Association recently recognized Centralia coach Kim Tennal with induction into its Hall of Fame. With a 745-127 overall record, her career began in 1976, coming to Centralia in 1988, where she guided the team to the state’s longest streak of state titles 1997-2004, with only a single losing season in her first year with the panthers.
