Riley County Police Looking For Suspect In Alleged Rape

On August 15, 2014, at approximately 12:45 PM, the Riley County Police Department received an emergency call for service stating that a female victim in her mid-twenties was raped by a suspect known to her. This crime occurred in the northern portion of Riley County within the hour prior to police receiving the 911 call.

Several officers with RCPD as well as members of the Kansas Highway Patrol and Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks, and Tourism were dispatched to a heavily wooded area in an attempt to locate the suspect who had fled the scene on foot.

Currently police are looking for a black male suspect in his mid-twenties, who stands 5’9” and weighs approximately 160 pounds.
