Marysville School Board Meets In Special Meeting

A motion by the Marysville USD 364 School Board to accept a proposed user fee agreement with the City of Marysville failed on a tie 3-3 vote at a special meeting Wednesday. The motion included the understanding that fast negotiations take place for a reciprocal agreement on all other facilities used by the school and city. That motion was amended to add the proposed user fee of $975 per month for two months in the fall, and two months in the spring for the tennis courts, which the city has contracted for renovation, which is underway.

In other business, the board voted to create extra duty positions for district webmaster and testing coordinator, pending negotiations. Contracts were approved with Annie Haefke of Randolph as Special Education teacher, and Sandra Wahl as Chemistry/Physics teacher.
