KNDY Internet Stream & Mobile Apps Switch Feeds

MARYSVILLE, KAN. – Dierking Communications, Inc. today announced a change in the programming for the 24/7 internet feed from KNDY Radio. Starting on Sunday, August 17th, the audio programming featured on http://www.kndyradio.com and the KNDY-FM Mobile Apps will feature Today’s Hot New Country from FM 95.5 KNDY. For the past 2 months the programming has consisted of classic country music from AM 1570/FM 94.1 KNDY.

The internet feed will include all of the normal programming featured on FM 95.5 KNDY, including high school football and basketball from our area teams. Due to restrictions from the IMG College/Kansas Jayhawk Radio Network, Kansas Football and Men’s Basketball will not be streamed. During those times, music programming will continue on the internet feed.

About Derek Nester (New)

Derek Nester was born and raised in Blue Rapids, and graduated from Valley Heights High School in May of 2000. He attended Cowley College in Arkansas City and Johnson County Community College in Overland Park studying Journalism & Media Communication. After stops at KFRM and KCLY radio in Clay Center, he joined KNDY in 2002 as a board operator and play by play announcer. Derek is now responsible for the digital content of Dierking Communications, Inc. six radio stations. In 2005 Derek joined the staff of KCFX radio in Kansas City as a production coordinator for the Kansas City Chiefs Radio Network, which airs on over 70 radio stations across 12 Midwest states and growing.
