Celebration Planned For Aggieville’s 125th Birthday

Aggieville, Kansas’s oldest business district, will celebrate its 125th birthday with a Birthday Street Fair and Dance on September 20, 2014. This event will take place on Moro Street of Aggieville starting at 10:00 AM.

This Birthday Bash will feature a state fair food cook-off, antique car show, carnival, maker faire, giant donut birthday cake, and dance. These events will highlight the charming atmosphere of one of Manhattan’s most loved areas.

“This celebration is a great way to honor the business owners and community members who have kept Aggieville growing over the years. Our goal is to see Aggieville still thriving in the community 100 years from now,” says Manhattan Area Chamber of Commerce Vice President, Karen Hibbard.
