The Sports Ticket Expands To kndyradio.com

Marysville, Kan. – Dierking Communications, Inc. today is happy to announce the expansion of our Sports Ticket podcast from KD Country 94 in Glen Elder, Kansas. The Sports Ticket, a sports talk show hosted by Wade Gerstner and Dusty Deines, features interviews with local, regional, and national figures concerning the latest in the world of sports. Past interviews have included Bill Snyder from Kansas State University, Ryan Lefebvre from the Royals Radio Network, and Tim Fitzgerald of Powercat Illustrated.

The podcasts, which originate from the live show on KD Country 94 in Glen Elder, Kansas, will be featured on the website of KNDY AM & FM, located at http://www.kndyradio.com.

The live, weekday version of The Sports Ticket, which airs this summer at 9:10 a.m. can be heard online at http://www.kdcountry94.com or in the KD Country 94 mobile app for smartphones.

About Derek Nester (New)

Derek Nester was born and raised in Blue Rapids, and graduated from Valley Heights High School in May of 2000. He attended Cowley College in Arkansas City and Johnson County Community College in Overland Park studying Journalism & Media Communication. After stops at KFRM and KCLY radio in Clay Center, he joined KNDY in 2002 as a board operator and play by play announcer. Derek is now responsible for the digital content of Dierking Communications, Inc. six radio stations. In 2005 Derek joined the staff of KCFX radio in Kansas City as a production coordinator for the Kansas City Chiefs Radio Network, which airs on over 70 radio stations across 12 Midwest states and growing.
