Kansas Water Office Tour Stopping In Washington & Manhattan

Washington is among twelve locations statewide scheduled to host the Water Vision Team, presenting the first draft vision for the future of water in Kansas, and receive public input. About 9,000 Kansas residents have participated in the governors’ initiative thus far, participating in over 160 meetings to gather information. A full detail of the plan objective and meeting schedule is online at the Kansas Water Office website. The meeting July 10th is scheduled 11:30–1:00 p.m. at the First National Bank in Washington.

The tour will also stop in Manhattan at the Manhattan Fire Department Headquarters, 200 Denison Avenue on Thursday, July 10 at 7:00 a.m.
