Record crowds attended the 25th annual Sampler Festival in Wamego last weekend. More than 11,700 people attended the two day event. Volunteers represented Marshall and Washington Counties at the event, which showcased Kansas travel and products.
John Howard of Marysville was recognized with one of ten “We Kan” awards presented. He has worked many years with Marshall County Tourism, and the Koester House Museum. The event will be held again in Wamego the first weekend in May next year.
