Nebraska Man Involved in Concordia Fatal Crash

An accident in Concordia this week claimed the life of an out of state man. It happened Wednesday afternoon at approximately 4:12pm. 20 year old Tyler J. Alitz of Nebraska was northbound in his 2000 Toyota Avalon on Lincoln Street when he collided with a 2014 Dodge Ram pulling a 2008 TAKE trailer that was southbound.

As a result, Alitz was killed in the crash.

The driver of the southbound, 27 year old Kyle A. Glassman of Duncan, Oklahoma was injured in the accident and taken to Cloud County Health Center. Reports indicate that Glassman’s injuries were not life-threatening.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reports that both vehicles collided in the left hand lane of the southbound lanes.

Next of kin for Alitz were notified via the Nebraska Highway Patrol. Neither driver in the accident was wearing their seatbelt, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.
