The Marysville USD 364 School Board met May 14th, and accepted resignation of high school volleyball coach Jason Tynon. Pending review of legal information from the Kansas Association of School Boards, a response to the City of Marysville’s offer of $50,000 per year for a ten year period for use of city recreation facilities was tabled. Also pending research into options for reducing meal costs, the issue of raising meal prices for the district was also tabled until the next meeting. A resolution to permanently adopt a Capital Outlay Fund was adopted. That matter previously required renewal every five years. Capital Outlay Funds are to be used for acquisition, construction, reconstruction, repair, remodeling, additions, furnishing, maintaining, and equipping district facilities.
