Wednesday is the registration deadline for an upcoming summit on Agriculture and Broadband, hosted by Blue Valley Telecommunications. The event is planned Monday, April 14, 10-2 at the Blue Valley office in Home City. United States Senator Pat Roberts is to address the importance of agriculture and broadband collaboration. Guest speaker topics will include K-State Beef Cattle and Extension Specialists, agribusiness economics and management, as well as representatives with Kansas Farm Bureau, U.S.D.A. Rural Development, and N.T.C.A. Outreach.
