Southeast Nebraska Cooperative Votes To Merge With Farmers Cooperative

Southeast Nebraska Cooperative Patrons voted to merge with Farmers Cooperative of Dorchester, nearly 85% in favor with results of a mail-in ballot announced at a special stockholders meeting. The merger, effective September 1, 2014 will allow for transition for southeast patrons and employees. Additional specifics are anticipated as actions to dissolve the Southeast Nebraska Cooperative, based in Beatrice, with multiple locations in southeast Nebraska and northeast Kansas.
