Marshall County Commission Votes To Purchase Waterville Lumberyard

Marshall County Commissioners met Monday, and voted to purchase the former Waterville Lumberyard, including most of four lots south of the Post Office, for $25,000. Commissioners later in the meeting met with the Public Works Director to discuss possible plans for demolition and reconstruction at the site. The Sheriff advised that he is advertising for a corrections officer, and when one is hired, will move a corrections officer to deputy. Complete minutes of the meeting posted on our website, kndyradio.com.
