Linn Recycling Trailer Fire Ruled Arson

Washington County authorities are asking the public for any details related to a fire at the recycling trailer in Linn on March 24th.

The Kansas Fire Marshall, after an investigation, determined the fire was intentionally set. The incident occurred at approximately 5:00 p.m. on Monday, March 24th. The trailer is located in an empty lot between Jack’s Food Mart and United Bank.

Those who might of witnessed anyone in the area of the trailer or have any information on the fire are asked to call the Washington County Sheriff’s Office at (785) 325-2293 or (785) 338-0761. Any reports or information given to the Sheriff’s Office will remain confidential and anonymous.
