Homicide Investigation Underway At The Mid America Ag Network in Wichita

The Wichita studios of the Mid America Ag Network was the scene of a homicide investigation today after an employee found a body in the basement of the facility. The Mid America Ag Network supplies news, sports and market information to KNDY AM & FM.

According to Wichita Police, the body was discovered shortly after 8 a.m. Police indicate the victim is male, and died of blunt force trauma. They also report that there were no signs of a break-in.

Greg Steckline, owner of the Mid America Ag Network, tells KAKE TV that the victim is an employee who had worked for the company for two years. His identity hasn’t been revealed by Police. A briefing is scheduled for Tuesday morning by Wichita Police, who are expected to release additional information.
