Second Annual Gingerbread House Contest To Be Held In Marysville

The 2nd Annual Gingerbread House Contest will be held in conjunction with the Christmas Opening in downtown Marysville on November 29th & 30th.  The contest  is open to the public (amateurs only) and has 3 categories:  Youth (11 & under), Teen (12-17) and Adult (18 & up).  Entries may be submitted by an individual or by a group.  First place prizes will be given in each category and in the People’s Choice!
Spend an afternoon with family or friends and build a house, barn, birdhouse or lighthouse.  Any dwelling or structure is permitted.  Entries must be brought to the Lee Dam Center for Fine Art onWednesday, November 27th between 6 p.m. & 7 p.m.  For complete guidelines, rules and entry form click here, stop by the Chamber Office at 101 North 10th Street in Marysville or request a form by email.
Whether you enter the contest or not, make sure you come to the art center and see the contest display!  The gingerbread houses will be on display at the Lee Dam Center for Fine Art on the following dates:
Friday, November 29 – 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (vote for People’s Choice today only!)
Saturday, November 30 – 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Sunday, December 1 – 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m.
Wedensday, December 4 – 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Thursday, December 5 – 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Friday,  December 6 – 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (Lunch With the Arts)
