High Speed Chase Leads To Wreck, Two Arrests

A Marysville man was taken into custody Friday evening after his vehicle crashed, following a high speed chase. Authorities pursued Jonathon Largen of Marysville after an incident outside a bar in Blue Rapids was reported. The chase, which involved the Marshall County Sheriff’s office ended on the East River Road near Alcove Spring around 8 p.m. Largen lost control and crashed. He was taken into custody on a total of 16 charges, including felony fleeing to elude, criminal threat, interference, and D.W.I. A passenger in the vehicle was taken to Community Memorial Hospital with possible injuries, was released, and later arrested on charges not related to the chase. A Deputy Sheriff also sprained his hand in the incident.
