Pawnee Recognizes World Suicide Prevention Day

Pawnee Mental Health Services is recognizing World Suicide Prevention Day Tuesday, September 10 with presentations in Manhattan, Junction City, and Concordia. Robin Cole of Pawnee Mental Health was a guest on our public affairs program this past weekend.

World Suicide Prevention Day is Tuesday, September 10th. Across the nation educational events will be held to raise awareness about suicide.

Pawnee Mental Health Services will present the suicide prevention segment of Mental Health First Aid. You will learn how to tell if someone is feeling suicidal, how to talk to someone who is suicidal, how to tell if the situation is serious, how to keep the person safe and get professional help.

Presentations will be held on Tuesday, September 10th from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the following locations:

Houston Street Center
427 Houston St. (second floor)
Manhattan, KS

Pawnee Mental Health Services
355 Grant Ave.
Junction City, KS

Wesleyan Church
1603 Cedar Street
Concordia, KS

Presentations are free and open to the public.
