High School Football Coverage On KNDY Radio

Marysville, Kan. – The first Friday in September brings high school football back to center stage, and Classic Country AM 1570/FM 94.1 has complete coverage starting at 6 p.m. and concludes with the Farm Bureau Insurance Scoreboard Show tonight.

High school football coverage begins at 6 p.m. with the Kpreps.com Kansas Pregame show. The Kpreps.com Kansas Pregame Show will provide in-depth information and expert analysis from Kpreps.com editor Matt Gilmore, Kansas Pregame publisher John Baetz. Each show will feature the state’s hottest topics such as break downs of the week’s biggest match-ups, impact players to watch, featured interview segments, a recap of the previous week’s action, and state rankings for all classes.

Following the Kpreps.com Kansas Pregame Show is the Coaches Corner Wrap-Up Show, featuring interviews with head football coaches across the KNDY coverage area. They will preview their upcoming games minutes before kickoff. The Marysville Bulldog Pregame Show will start at 6:45 p.m. and take you up to kick-off with a pregame visit with Head Coach Dustin Heuer. Bruce Dierking and Jason Brinegar will bring you all the exciting play by play action as Marysville hosts Winfield at Homer Hanson Stadium.

Following the game stay tuned for the Farm Bureau Insurance Scoreboard Show. It will air 3 times per hour from 10 p.m. until midnight on both AM 1570/FM 94.1 & FM 95.5 KNDY.

Derek Nester was born and raised in Blue Rapids, and graduated from Valley Heights High School in May of 2000. He attended Cowley College in Arkansas City and Johnson County Community College in Overland Park studying Journalism & Media Communication.
