Vandals Strike Valley Heights High School Vocational Building

Vandals reportedly broke into the Valley Heights vocational building at the high school on July 11th. Some $5,000 worth of equipment was reported stolen, including tablets, trimmer, various battery and electric hand tools, plasma cutter and two Nintendo Wii systems. Two males were seen on surveillance video at around 1 a.m. One wore a welding helmet, the other a backwards ball cap, with scarf and sunglasses. The stolen property was then taken to a crossover SUV parked at Sixth Road. It is described as having two full size windows, and smaller triangular windows at the rear, with aluminum rims or hubcaps. USD 498 is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individuals involved in this crime.
