Gage County Supervisors Plan Fall Road Work Projects

Gage County Board of Supervisors continued steps toward issuance of $5.6 million for road improvements, after adoption by voters with 62% approval in June. Financial and construction timelines were discussed last week, with adoption of a bond resolution anticipated July 24, and funds coming available late in August. Some of the work could begin this year, and is to include two miles on South 66th Road, 10.2 miles mill and overlay from Wymore to Liberty, 6 miles mill and overlay on West PWF to the Odell North Blacktop, and 13 miles mill and overlay on the Filley/Adams blacktop. A pac that was organized to promote the effort was recently dissolved, following the election.
