A Collection of Record Proportions

The Blue Rapids Museum is close to opening a major and unique exhibit in the “Stanley’s” portion. The Floyd Sutton family, as a tribute to Fib, plan to bring in antique toys, Georgia Pacific photos, old model trains, refurbished antique clocks and unique working phonographs. There will be antique tools of known and unknown purposes and a tribute to the untold story of Floyd’s military career plus miscellaneous items purchased at auctions. This will be the first and last time this major collection will be shown with the approximate dates July 8th to the middle of September.

As a fund raiser for new flooring in this section, a 4×8 piece of plywood can be purchased for $25 and will have your name painted on it. An admission donation to see the completed exhibit will also be suggested to help cover remodeling costs. Blue Rapids Museum is located at #36 Public Square. For information or a private showing call Patricia Osborne at 785-363-7949.
