Dr. Freeman hired as Interim Superintendent at Marysville

The USD 364 Board of Education held a special board meeting Thursday night to interview 3 possible candidates for the interim Superintendent position. They interviewed Michael Nolton of North Lyon County, Dr. Dale Slagle of Frontenac, and Dr. Randy Freeman, director of Marshall County Special Services, the special education cooperative between Marysville and Valley Heights School Districts. After the interviews, they hired Dr. Freeman as the interim Superintendent for next school year and asked Freeman to find an interim director for the special education cooperative for next year. Freeman is a former superintendent for the Silver Lake school district. His salary was set at just over $90,000 for next school year.
