Marysville Water Alert For Tuesday, May 7th

On Tuesday, May 7th, beginning at approximately 9:00 a.m. the Marysville Water Department will be shutting water off to install new Water Main Valves at 13th & Park Place.


The areas affected will be:

  • Park Place from 12th to 16th.
  • N. 12th & Debbie Ln. going North to the end of the Pavement.
  • N. 13th from Jayhawk Rd. to Park Place.
  • N. 14th from Jayhawk Rd. to Park Place.

The water WILL be off several hours. Please make arrangements to save some water for drinking purposes if needed.

The City is trying to improve it’s infrastructure to make sure we all have a dependable water supply. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

About Derek Nester

Derek Nester was born and raised in Blue Rapids, and graduated from Valley Heights High School in May of 2000. He attended Cowley College in Arkansas City and Johnson County Community College in Overland Park studying Journalism & Media Communication. After stops at KFRM and KCLY radio in Clay Center, he joined KNDY in 2002 as a board operator and play by play announcer.
