Marysville Main Street asking to help make Broadway Sparkle!

Marysville Main Street is asking for your help with making Broadway Street in downtown Marysville “Sparkle.” On Wednesday, May 22, starting at 5:30 pm, they’ll have their first clean up, so bring gloves, a bucket and any tools you may need. If you’re unable to clean that day, anytime next week cleaning your storefront or your block would be greatly appreciated to have it looking good for the Big Blue BBQ and Car Show on May 31 and June 1.

Speaking of the Car Show, the Marysville Chamber of Commerce will be sponsoring their annual Cruise and Poker Run on May 31. Registration runs from 5:30 to 7:30 at 8th and Broadway, with the Poker Run going from 5:30 to 8 and Crusin’ on Main Street from 5:30 to 8:30 and the Poker Hand Awards at 8:30. Prizes will be $150 for the best hand, $75 for the 2nd best hand, and $25 for the worst hand. Door prizes will be given away throughout the evening and everyone is encouraged to participate as you can drive anything. It’ll be fun for the entire family.
