Eight Area Graduations to be held this weekend

The 8 remaining area high schools will hold their commencement exercises this weekend. Axtell High School will have 19 in the Class of 2013 as they will have their tassels turned at 2 pm Saturday. 20 seniors will graduate from Valley Heights High School on Saturday, also starting at 2 pm. Sunday Morning, Baileyville B&B will hold their next to last graduation at 10:30 am, with 14 graduating.  Linn High School will hold their graduation at 1 pm Sunday, with 17 in the class. Also at 1 on Sunday, Hanover High School will hold their commencement with 18 graduates. Nemaha Valley High School ceremonies will be at 1:30 Sunday with 53 graduates, while Washington County High School will graduate 27 seniors beginning at 2 pm Sunday and Marysville High School will round up the area graduations on Sunday beginning at 2:30 at Homer Hanson Stadium with 64 graduates.

Kevin Rippe was born in Marysville and moved to Smith Center at the age of 1, then graduated from Smith Center High School in 1995. He graduated from Cloud County Community College in 1997, and joined the staff of KKAN/KQMA radio in Phillipsburg a year later. Since June of 2011 Kevin has been with us here at Your Country KNDY.
