Staggenborg recognized at Kansas Sampler Festival

Marysville Chamber of Commerce Secretary Brenda Staggenborg was one of ten people recognized at the Kansas Sampler Festival held last weekend in Liberal. She received a WeKan Award for “Making it Happen” in Marysville. U.S. Highway 36 Association, which Chad Kramer is President of, was also recognized for a Century of Promoting east to west as the Association just recently celebrated it’s 100th Anniversary.  Next year’s Sampler Fest will be held in Wamego the first weekend in May.

Kevin Rippe was born in Marysville and moved to Smith Center at the age of 1, then graduated from Smith Center High School in 1995. He graduated from Cloud County Community College in 1997, and joined the staff of KKAN/KQMA radio in Phillipsburg a year later. Since June of 2011 Kevin has been with us here at Your Country KNDY. Kevin lives in Marysville with his wife Melissa, and 4 children Brennen, Jacob, Bailee, and Joshua.
