A resurfacing project is scheduled to begin this week on Highway 36 in Brown County, where about 12 miles of the highway will be resurfaced from the west city limits of Hiawatha, westward to the Nemaha/Brown County Line. Traffic will be reduced to one lane and you will be directed through the workzone via a pilot car and flagger operation. You should expect 10-15 minute delays during the project, which is scheduled to be finished in early July.
