Marysville Farmers Market to open for season May 4

The Marysville Farmers Market is scheduled to open on Saturday May 4 and will continue each Saturday throughout the summer into early fall, running form 8 am to 11 am each week. For more information on how to sign up to sell at the market, contact the Marysville Sport and Recreation at 785-562-6818. The market has grown each year the last few years and board members are expecting more of the same this year. Board members are Brian Fragel, Pam Schroller, Allie Argo, Nancy Vogelsberg-Busch, and Sarah Kessinger.

Kevin Rippe was born in Marysville and moved to Smith Center at the age of 1, then graduated from Smith Center High School in 1995. He graduated from Cloud County Community College in 1997, and joined the staff of KKAN/KQMA radio in Phillipsburg a year later. Since June of 2011 Kevin has been with us here at Your Country KNDY. Kevin lives in Marysville with his wife Melissa, and 4 children Brennen, Jacob, Bailee, and Joshua.
