This week is National Volunteer Week and everyone is encouraged to volunteer, whether it’s at school, a nursing home or hospital, cleaning up the city park, working at your local food pantry, or helping out the American Red Cross. The Red Cross volunteers teach first aid, CPR, and swimming lessons, Respond to disasters, support blood drives, and help members of the military and their families in the U.S. and overseas. If you’re interested in volunteering for the American Red Cross, visit redcross.org.
