Fifth Street Renovations have begun in Beatrice

Renovations to North 5th Street in Beatrice have begun and are expected to be in full swing soon. 5th Street, from Lincoln to Court Street, is going to be converted into a two-way street during the construction phase, which is estimated to take about two months. Other projects planned as part of the renovations include angled parking, colored crosswalks, flower displays, and a statue display.

Kevin Rippe was born in Marysville and moved to Smith Center at the age of 1, then graduated from Smith Center High School in 1995. He graduated from Cloud County Community College in 1997, and joined the staff of KKAN/KQMA radio in Phillipsburg a year later. Since June of 2011 Kevin has been with us here at Your Country KNDY.
