Resurfacing Project Start Date Pushed Back

The start date for the resurfacing project on Highway 36 from the west city limits of Hiawatha, west to the Nemaha/Brown County line has been pushed back two weeks, to May 2nd. It was originally set to begin this week, however the weather has not cooperated, therefore the project will be moved back. Hall Brothers of Marysville are the primary contractors and the completion date is still set for early July. You should expect 10-15 minute delays as a pilot car will take you through the construction.
