Three Marshall Countians run Boston Marathon, escape uninjured by bombs

Three people with Marshall County roots ran in the Boston Marathon on Monday, but all had finished the race before the bombs went off that killed 3 people, including one child, and injuring over 100 others. Julie Pacha Yager of Longmont, CO is the daughter of Ray and Kathy Pacha of Marysville. She had finished the race about 45 mintues before the bombs went off. Molly Walter Ryan of Bixby, OK is the daughter of Lyle and Ann Walter of Waterville and finished about 30 minutes before the bombings and Brian Polson, son of Kent and Joyce Polson of Vilets, who had finished the race about an hour before the mayhem.

All three reported they were in shock and saddened by the news when they heard about it.
