Families First of Marshall County hold ” Color Me ” event

Families First of Marshall County, a not for profit agency, dedicated to the promotion of health and self sufficiency through education, will be holding a 5K Walk/Run Charity event, called Color Me, on Sunday April 28 at 9 am at Marysville City Park. If a business, group, or individual would like to help sponsor the event, you may contact Geri Wybo-Zimmerling at 785-562-7878.

Sponsorship deadline is Monday, April 1st. There are 4 different levels to help sponsor. The Color Me event will take place rain or shine. If you would like to register for the event as a participant, you may also call 785-562-7878.

Early registrations are due by April 21st and cost is $25. After April 21st, the cost goes to $35.

About Kevin Rippe

Kevin Rippe was born in Marysville and moved to Smith Center at the age of 1, then graduated from Smith Center High School in 1995. He graduated from Cloud County Community College in 1997, and joined the staff of KKAN/KQMA radio in Phillipsburg a year later. Since June of 2011 Kevin has been with us here at Your Country KNDY. You can hear Kevin on daily news reports, as well as calling area high school football and basketball. Kevin lives in Marysville with his wife Melissa, and 4 children Brennen, Jacob, Bailee, and Joshua.
