Defensive Driving Classes coming up in Clay Center and Washington

If you would like to sharpen your driving skills, there are going to be a couple of classes coming up in the area offered by the River Valley Extension District. These Defensive Driving Classes will be held in Clay Center on April

3 & 4 from 6-9 pm at the Extension office at 322 Grant Avenue in Clay Center. Participants must attend both nights to receive certification.

Pre-register by March 22. There is a $15 fee for the course . There will also be a one day class in Washington on Friday, April 26 at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church at 401 D Street in Washington from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Participants must attend all day to receive their certification. You may bring your own lunch or break for an hour for lunch. Please pre-register by Friday April 12 if interested in attending this class. There is also a $15 fee for

this class. And again a minimum of 15 people must sign up in order to have the class.

Kevin Rippe was born in Marysville and moved to Smith Center at the age of 1, then graduated from Smith Center High School in 1995. He graduated from Cloud County Community College in 1997, and joined the staff of KKAN/KQMA radio in Phillipsburg a year later. Since June of 2011 Kevin has been with us here at Your Country KNDY.
